West Sedona is the primary residential and day-to-day business area of our town, and home to the largest inventory of Sedona real estate for sale. It’s bisected by West Hwy 89A, along which you’ll find our four supermarkets, the cineplex, numerous first-rate restaurants, fast food joints, pizza places, gas stations, hotels, and, at the west end of town, Sedona Red Rock High School and the Sedona performing Arts Center.
As you come up the hill on 89A from the “Y,” you encounter the “The Old Marketplace” (a bit of a misnomer because it’s not quite finished). Here you’ll find the Whole Foods Market, the Chase Bank, the Martini Bar, the Szechuan Restaurant, The Field Restaurant and Coffeehouse. Last, but not least, are the offices of Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty. The Buyer Brokers Group occupies a small, domed two-story building on a cobblestone circle with a sculpture of Merlin in its center.
West Sedona hosts the full range of Sedona real estate from manufactured homes neighborhoods to the most expensive properties in Northern Arizona – and plenty in between. Typical of Sedona, the National Forest is never far away and the views can be truly spectacular, sometimes even in the least expensive areas. Like West Sedona, even a few blocks away from 89A, the residential neighborhoods are fairly quiet with breathtaking views.
